The Town of Apple Valley will host a Drive-Through Testing Event on Thursday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Civic Center Park.

In partnership with the County of San Bernardino Department of Public Health, the event is free and health insurance is not required.

To qualify for an appointment, a person must be exhibiting at least one of the following symptoms: fever, shortness of breath, cough.

Registration is required. To register call the County hotline at (909) 387-3911 or visit sbcovid19.com. Space is limited.

Civic Center Park is located at 14999 Dale Evans Parkway. Public access to Civic Center Park will be closed from Bass Hill Road beginning at 7 p.m. the day prior, April 29, until 7 p.m. on April 30.

Vehicle traffic in the area is expected to be congested during the testing event and residents are encouraged to avoid the area unless they have a scheduled appointment. Road detour signs and barriers will be installed in the area. Please drive safely and remember to wear face coverings when attending this event.

Testing will help residents determine if they have contracted Covid-19 and what guidelines to follow if they test positive. Test results are expected within 3-7 days. Other testing dates and locations can be found on the County’s website, sbcovid19.com. Antibody testing is not currently being conducted by County Public Health.
