Morehouse President to Step Down

Associated Press

ATLANTA (AP) _ Morehouse College President Robert Franklin plans to step down after a five-year term as head of the prestigious, historically black men's college.

Franklin, 57, took office in 2007 as the college's tenth president. He will become the college's President Emeritus and Distinguished Professor.

Like any good mother, Dr. Mildred Henry stands outside most every morning, watching the droves of her children and teens, about 500 in all, trek off the buses and into the Center, and not too much goes under her radar.

Not that the students aren’t trying to put something over, it’s just the nature of a teen.
