Artist Shalay at Riverside Artwalk
World Renowned Artist Charles Bibbs Presents Protégée Artist Shalay at Riverside Artwalk
Local artist whose work has been sought out by the likes of Steve Harvey and the Obama Administration features new pieces during “One Woman Show”
Artist Shalay will be displaying her art collection for the months of August and September during the Downtown Riverside Artwalk. Her opening reception,
entitled “An Intimate Evening with Artist Shalay,” will take place Saturday, August 25, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 3637 9th Street, downtown Riverside. The One Woman Show is a free event being held in conjunction with the Charles Bibbs Art 2000 Visual Artist Organization.
For the past few years, Artist Shalay has been making a name for herself nationally. Working towards breaking the glass ceiling while capturing the admiration of all genders and nationalities, San Bernardino County’s local sweetheart has featured her work in California as well as in galleries and homes in New York, Washington, D.C., Minnesota, and Chicago. In addition to her King James
Collection, her new releases of The Journeyman, Just As I Fall I Shall Rise, All That Jazz, and WE are 1 Million (A tribute to Trayvon Martin), will be presented during her One Woman Show. Shalay says, “I’m grateful to have the support of so many people.” During the event she will also be honoring all those who have had a significant impact on her life.
