Cajon Wins, Sets Sights on Colton

The San Andreas League is made up of San Bernardino City teams, except for one school, with Colton being the outcast.

But now it seems that it is that renegade that stands in the way of the Cajon Cowboys’ quest to win the CBL title.

Many had predicted that it would come down to those two teams to see who gets bragging rights and the all-important number-one league seed come playoff time.

Dodgers, Angels Fall Short Yet Again

What would have been just an Interstate 5 drive away has become a road to nowhere for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Angels. Yet again two prominent local Major League Baseball teams have fallen short of a World Series.

Instead, the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies will decide who the best team in the league is. It is a welcome back for the Yankees and a boom for the Nielsen ratings and the FOX network, who will be broadcasting the series which began Wednesday night.

Lakers Make Stop in Inland Empire Before they Start Regular Season

The first timederek-fisher the Los Angeles Lakers played in the Inland Empire in the brand new Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, they went on to become the NBA champions. Let’s see if their latest visit to the Inland Empire will bring them similar results.

After the game 6 loss to the Boston Celtics two years ago the Lakers vowed to make a defensive stand as they embarked on the new season. Inland Empire Laker fans got a chance to witness the new-look Lakers when they christened the new Citizens Business Bank Arena

donaldwatkinsConservative political commentator Rush Limbaugh has dominated media headlines the last three weeks with his participation in a group interested in buying the National Football League’s St. Louis Rams.
The highly controversial radio talk show host was a topic of discussion almost everywhere, until the group announced its plans to continue its bid for the owner’s box without him.
But there’s one fact related to the Limbaugh/Rams story that hasn’t been mentioned in many headlines.
According to an ESPN.com article, one of the six groups interested in buying the Rams is led by African-American businessman Donald Watkins.
