Flair for Fashion: Singer Macy Gray has decided to jump back into the fashion industry. The artist has revitalized her fashion line for plus-size women called “Humps.” The line will be released next year. Gray put out a similar clothing line in 2008 that didn’t sell very well, but she claims that she has been “re-inspired” since her appearance at the Esprit store in New York City last month. The line will not only be designed for plus-size women, but will also be a fit for voluptuous women. There is conversation that Gray will be looking for her spokesmodel with a reality TV show. Gray’s clothing line creation follows the lead of other black female advocates for plus-size clothing. Jill Scott, for example, is selling bras that fit women with larger breasts. She claims that the pain in her back has come from having bras that don’t fit comfortably. Also, Toccara Jones from “America's Next Top Model,” had a brief modeling career with Ashley Stewart, another company that sells to women who would not be considered petite.

ScottJill4C05-27Paying Up: According to a recent court ruling, it looks like rapper Nas will have to fork over quite a large chunk of change to his soon-to-be ex-wife, Kelis Rogers-Jones. To be more specific, try more than $700,000. An L.A. County Superior Court judge ordered Nas to “immediately” pay Kelis $47,249.42 in back child support and $40,454 in back spousal support. Nas also has to dig deep in his pockets for an additional $10,000/month in spousal support until he pays off the $299,015.50 he owes his former Milkshake Ma. The hip-hop performer has to also break in to his piggy bank to pay 90 percent of Kelis' legal fees, which total $155,787.28, plus $48,549.83 to cover his former mate’s accounting expenses. The couple decided to divorce last April after being married for five years. When the controversial couple’s son, Knight, was born last July, Nas was unfortunately not allowed to witness the birth, but he had to pay for the baby’s nurse, prenatal expenses and medical insurance. Reportedly, Nas was heartbroken.

Free Man: T.I. has been finalizing plans for the release of his latest round of music. The Grammy Award-winning MC announced last month that the title of his August 24 LP will be “King Uncaged.” He also released a promo trailer for an upcoming mixtape he has with DJ Drama and DJ MLK, one in the Gangsta Grillz. While some were confused by the title, rest assured that all parties involved are not turning their backs on the mixtape circuit--after all, the project is a mixtape and both Drama and MLK have several mixtapes with various other artists on deck in the coming weeks. But Drama declined to elaborate on the meaning behind the title.

Briefly: Delroy Lindo will appear in the Fox drama pilot “Ride-Along,” joining Jason Clarke and Jennifer Beals, reports Reuters. The show revolves around Jarek (Clarke), a rogue cowboy cop, and Teresa (Beals), Chicago’s first female police chief, who vow to clean up the streets. Lindo will play a building magnate-turned-politician who is beloved by his constituents amid whispers about ties to organized crime … ‘Scrubs’ star Donald Faison is having a major money matter. TMZ has discovered that the 35-year-old actor owes $514,657.76 for an apartment building he owns in Inglewood, California. Luther Burbank Savings just filed a suit claiming that the ‘Next Day Air’ star hasn’t paid the mortgage on the property since Nov. and wants permission to initiate a foreclosure action. Faison apparently paid $525,000 for the building when he purchased it in 2008.

Finally: Actor Denzel Washington will be taking the lead role in August Wilson’s Pulitzer-winning Broadway play “Fences.” The show opened April 26.
