Sitting Pretty: While her sister Beyonce is welcoming her newborn daughter Blue Ivy into the world, Solange Knowles has her own bundle of joy to celebrate -- a modeling contract with Next Model Management. “Artistic expression is invaluable to me in all walks of my career and I am so excited to continue to develop this

path along with such an amazing team at Next Model Management,” the singer told Vogue UK. “I feel right at home working with people who have worked beside such creative forces in the world.”

“We are delighted to be working with Solange,” Next global publicist Katy Moseley added. “She is hugely popular and beautiful, with so many brilliant ideas and creative energy.” No stranger to the fashion world, Solange has launched a juniors line, Dereon, a sister line to House of Dereon, a women's clothing collection launched by Beyonce and their mom Tina Knowles. The 25-year-old, who has three solo albums, also has experience in the beauty market. In spring 2011, she was tapped as Carol's Daughter celeb spokesperson and that fall, she appeared in campaigns for makeup brand Rimmel London.

Trouble with Uncle Sam: Reverend Run’s daughters may have run into some trouble with the IRS, according to a new Detroit News report. The IRS and the state of California claim that the two, Angela and Vanessa Simmons, owe more than $450,000. The sisters have yet to respond to the allegations, but I’m sure they’ll be responding with their bank accounts when you take a look at the documentation both California and the IRS have. According to reports the following is owed: The IRS filed a $26,658 tax lien against Angela Simmons on Dec. 22 with the New York City Register. The IRS filed a $22,528 tax lien against Vanessa Simmons on Dec. 22 in New York. The IRS filed a $157,787 tax lien against Vanessa Simmons on Nov. 10 in New York.

The IRS filed a $27,248 tax lien against Angela Simmons on May 20 in New York. The IRS filed a $132,466 tax lien against Angela Simmons on April 1 in New York.

The state of California filed a $44,253 tax lien against Vanessa Simmons on March 23 in Sacramento County Court. The state of California filed a $39,538 tax lien against Angela Simmons on March 23 in Sacramento.

Pay Up: The folks who financed Jermaine Dupri’s recently repossessed $330,000 Lamborghini have sued the music producer, claiming he still owes them $80,000 for the car. According to TMZ, Premier Financial Services filed new legal docs in Georgia Superior Court, claiming Dupri financed the white 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago in 2006 and agreed to make 58 monthly payments of $4,323. According to the docs, Jermaine paid $70,000 up front for the car and successfully made the majority of payments, but for some reason, stopped making payments in 2009.

Briefly: Lil Wayne is ready to share all the inside story of his eight-month prison stint. Weezy is getting an unspecified sum to give Grand Central Publishing the diaries he kept while jailed in New York City’s Rikers Island from March to November 2010. The book promises to be a riveting first-hand account of the people he met, his family, and his future ... Will.i.am, the Black Eyed Peas frontman, revealed that he’s going to start his own car company and bring jobs to Los Angeles.

Finally: Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles joined forces to design t-shirts for President Obama’s re-election campaign, according to MTV. The shirt is a $45 white t-shirt with the phrases “yes we can,” “words do inspire” and “transform a nation together,” randomly scattered across the front in different fonts.
