Got to say happy birthday to Dr. Versie Burns on her 81st. She sounds as great and gracious as ever. The get-out-the-vote bug needs to bite big in Orange County. Most solicitation and information is coming from national. The $3

donation is almost a gallon of gas! I voted for change but now I need dollars!

Upcoming birthday wishes to the Casserly twins, Allison and Julia, Walkie Ray, St. Ruthie Gorman and Betty Elizabeth (Liz) Norton … Missed the Berry egg hunt, couldn’t find any egg hunters … The Good Friday service at FBC was so good and different …

Juneteenth is moving forward with some good and productive committee members. My concern is, why such expensive costs for vendors? They have to charge to try to at least break even. Does this encourage support? Can families pay what’s being asked for food, etc.? You can share a hot dog or hot link, but a rib? We still need to support each other’s efforts.

Looking forward to San Francisco.

Til next week …
