Thanks and great job to participants and supporters of the Community Learning Center, Second Baptist Church Santa Ana annual spelling bee (more next week).

Upcoming birthday wishes to Leonard Berry, Shirley Warren, Erica Haynes, and, of course, Ruth Hayes.

Heard the split event, aka Old School Reunion, had a less than expected turnout. Remember how exciting and support for the first one? It was successful and enjoyed. Then, two reunion groups, sometimes with events on same night. No consideration for the folks who want to support both. Not always affordable … Guess folks got tired of being divided and decided to stay home as one.

Congrats to Chamber President Bobby MacDonald who will be father of the bride (Christine) this weekend …

Til next week …
