Received comments, about “folk not knowing you or what you do.” Community is spelled with a U and I, has nothing to do with color, zip code, political affiliation, or how long you’ve lived in Orange County. Why are we so afraid to help and uplift each other? Heard Women’s Day at Second Baptist (8 a.m.) was saved by the minister and gifted and gracious mistress of ceremonies.

Great job and congrats to OC Black Chamber president Bobby MacDonald on the unveiling of the Negro League stamp. If you missed this historical event, Sept. 23rd is the date of the Black Chamber gala, and MacDonald promises to have stamps there ... Thanks to Ed Thomas, COR and commission members for their commitment to community.
