The “Best Is Yet To Come” was the theme for the 2012 Beautillion Ball held Saturday in San Bernardino. The event marked The Social Lites’ 45^th annual Beautillion Ball.

Twins, Eric and Evan Carthen were crowned Sir Knights 2012.  Evan secured a scholarship for the highest academic grade point average.   Eric secured a scholarship for the next highest academic grade point average.  This was in addition to the scholarships awarded to them for winning Sir Knight.  Additionally, they both received top of the line laptop computers for college.

The gala event was attended by more than 300 guests and supporters of the five young men vying for the title of Sir Knight 2012.  Master of Ceremony, Councilman Rikke Van Johnson, guided the audience through the history of the Social Lites 55 years of community service in the Inland Empire.   Keynote speaker, Dr. Edward C. Bush, PhD delivered the message to the Knights on “How to become the best in this changing world.”
