Celebration of Life for Tony Knox, Sr

Ronald Anthony (Tony) Knox Sr., age 73, passed away peacefully January 27, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  He was born March 31, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Tony was a United States Army Vietnam War Veteran. He also retired from United Airlines, after which he worked as a Security Guard and mentor to high school kids at Eisenhower High School in Rialto.

He was well known for entertaining with his sultry baritone voice during singing engagements at Geri’s Velvet Lounge in San Bernardino.  Tony was a top contestant in the 1973 Supermack of the Year Contest.

Tony loved looking sharp, singing and entertaining, golf, vintage vehicles, and most of all his family. He is survived by his wife Katherine; children Demetrick of Denmark, Steven, Catricia, Ronald Jr., Temmé, Ronnie, Trevor, Evelyn, Shelly, DeQuincy and DeWayne; brother Roger; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be a public celebration of life March 3, 2:00pm – 6:00pm at the American Legion Post 14 located at 863 N D St in San Bernardino.
