June 13 – A Small Business Seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Coastline Community College, Garden Grove Center, 12901 Euclid St., Garden Grove. June 15 – The Four Tops Review is presented by the Orange County NAACP and the Santa Ana Elks #794 at 212 South Elk Lane, Santa Ana. The show features comedian Dexter Smiles. Doors open at 7:00. Tickets are $25 by June 8; $35 after and at the door. Food and bar available. Call (714) 325-0103.

Rep. Joe Baca Hosts Annual Education Summit
Rep. Joe Baca (D-Rialto) hosted his annual Education Summit, at California State University San Bernardino on Thursday, May 24. The theme of the conference
was “The California and National Landscape: Challenges and Opportunities in Special Education.” At the summit, parents, educators, public officials, and business and community leaders all had an opportunity to interact with leading experts in the special education field, and discuss ways to provide greater opportunity at success for students in the Inland Empire.
