August 25 – The Ovarian Cancer Orange County Alliance hosts its fourth annual Elizabeth Miller Memorial Golf Tournament at Rio Hondo Country Club, 10627 Old River School Road in Downey. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.; tournament starts at 11:00. Tournament is open to men and women of all skill levels and is a four-person scramble format. Deadline to register is August 23.
