Grand Canyon Photography Exhibit
July 12 through September 23, “Lasting Light: 125 Years of Grand Canyon Photography” is on exhibit at the Ontario Museum of History and Art, 225 East Euclid Avenue in Ontario. Post 14
Saturday, July 7, at 6:15 p.m., the American Legion Post 14 will honor Onie DeVaughn James MacFarland with a Lifetime Achievement Service Award for her distinguished service of 54 years to the community. She worked as an Airborne Respiratory Therapist who traveled by helicopter to injured patients to render aid and also administered aid to youths in Juvenile Hall. She was an organizer of weekly softball competitions at the former Norton AFB and played until the age of 72.
