The Working White House Exhibit

Through February 26, the stories of White House workers at the Museum of History and Art, 225 South Euclid Avenue, Ontario. Stories provide a behind-the-scenes portrait of two centuries at the country’s most famous household. Admission is free. Call (909) 395-2510.

Frederick Douglass Exhibit

Thru the month of February, the San Bernardino County Museum presents a touring exhibit, “Frederick Douglass from Slavery to Freedom: the Journey to New York City.”  Entrance to the exhibit is included with regular paid museum admission. The museum’s Reading Discoveries book discussion group will discuss Douglass’ autobiography, “A Narrative of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave,” on Wednesday, February 8, at 7:30 p.m. The museum is located at the California Street exit from I-10 in Redlands. S.B. Chamber Installation of Officers & Business Expo

Conversations on Diversity

Thursday, February 9, from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m., the Diversity Committee of Cal State University presents Ron Oden, the first African American mayor of Palm Springs as guest speaker. Black History Parade in Riverside

STEM Project Workshops

Saturday, February 18, a Field trip to Griffith Park Observatory kicks off STEM project workshops at the T. Hughes Memorial Bldg., 1777 West Baseline, San Bernardino. STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) project workshops will be held for students second through 11th grades on February 20 and again on February 25. Heart Health Event
